Hi, im new member of VJ but i already know about this site two years ago and read the forums. It's very interesting

and at same time can pick some ideas.

I would like to share some ideas for those who are still filing the petitions or you can share it to your friends.

Here's the story goes:

I have had know 3 of my friends, their husband filed I-130 and this happens yr 2008. This friends of mine are under IMBRA. why i say so?

They're husband pays a membership of this publishing company were their pictures was posted. They have knew each other for only 1 or 2 months more or less. In fact the wife didn't tell the husband that her kids has two different fathers and still alive. After they got married, they filed only I-130, and no longer filing the I-129f in order to avoid the issue of IMBRA. Their petition was approved and only took 3 to 4 months, without filing the I-129f. And when was interview was approaching , the owner of the publishing company made a briefing to the wife. "IF THE CO WILL ASK YOU, WHERE DID YOU MEET YOUR HUSBAND, TELL, IT WAS INTRODUCE BY A FRIEND WHO LIVED AND A PERMANENT RESIDENT IN US". So, they're lying not only to the CO but to themselves also. :bonk::protest: and also to us who are honest telling the truth and stated in our I-129f that were under IMBRA. Well, that's their life and their obligation to face for their whole life cheating. And in fact there's another lady who is our neighbor that will getting married this months and the same story filing only I-130. :protest: :protest: :protest:

So, for those who wants to take this step, you can file easily the I-130 without filing the I-129f. If works on them, so why not work on others. For those who are under AWA, maybe you can follow this guys. fill I-130 and no longer the I-129f.

Tell your friends about this. they can take it or they will just leave it. Im open to any comments.

How about AWA filers, this is not fair. You honestly fill up the I-129f that's why they know you're under AWA. If you only know ahead maybe you leave the I-129f, right? If we only knew these matter we'll going to take this steps. Well its late already. So guys, tell some of your friends so that they wont suffer.

ok, thanks for reading...

God Bless us all. and good luck. (F)

I would like to remind everyone - especially our new posters - that lying to avoid IMBRA is against the law and suggesting that someone follows this practice is a violation of the Terms of Service for Visa Journey. It isn't allowed here to recommend or suggest that someone lies to immigration or falsifies any type of immigration information, even if it does appear that others have done so and got away with it. Lies can and do come back to haunt immigrants at any time - even after one becomes a US citizen. So, not only is it illegal and a violation of TOS, it is also a very bad choice to make. Consequences of 'misrepresentation' can include deportation and a lifetime ban from ever entering the US again.

It isn't illegal to file only the I-130 instead of filing both the I-130 and I-129. Filing the I-129 with the I-130 will result in a K-3 visa. Filing the I-130 by itself will result in an CR-1/IR-1 visa. Both of these are legal routes to follow. They result in different types of visas and have different responsibilities attached.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
