We finally recieved our letter with the AOS interview date. We are schedualed the start of Jan. I am just worried, because on the interview notice, it states to bring his last 2 pay stubs....well, the last 3 years, my husband made good money, as he was deployed and working full time with the National Gaurd, but this past year '09, he decided to wrap up his schooling so he was not full time, so his income is very low for this year, but he is deploying again this summer and will be working full time again with the military.

Do I have to bring his last 2 pay stubs? Or is his employment letter which verifies that he is enlisted for several more years good, as well notice of his up coming deployment on top pf the last 3 tax years'06, '07, '08 going to be good enough???

I am just stressed and want to sort this and have our info all together for the interview asap, as I am due to deliver our first child in less than 2 weeks.

All input is appreciated

It would not hurt to carry everything and anything that will assist your case. I suggest you carry all of it, any recent pay stubs, employment and deployment letter.

Carry the originals and copies, just in case they ask. No harm in carrying the updated one as well.

Always remember, HERE IS WHERE IT IS, NOT WHERE IT IS??

If your husband cannot prove current income annualized income for 2009 will meet the income guidelines it may be worth lining up a co-sponsor for the I-864.

The proof isn't limited to the last 2 pay stubs, especially in your case based on what you've mentioned about being redeployed. But, be sure to bring the recent pay stubs with you along with all of the other proof.

Bring everything, including the last two pay stubs. When I say everything, I mean everything...YES, that also. Every piece of paper ever sent to USCIs and everything you ever took to the consulate and ALL his check stubs since he filed the I-864.

I would also get a joint sponsor lined up. If possible, get the joint sponsor to sign off on the I-864 before the interview.
