NOA I-797C

I rec'd the NOTICE OF ACTION, I-797C today. I am not sure if they are asking me to submit any additional information to verify my address.

The I-797C, Notice of Action in the mail today. It states that:

"The above application has been received by our office and is in process. Our records indicate your personal information is as follows:"

"Date of birth: November 01, 1900 "

Address where you live: It states my current address here

Then it follows:

"Upon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office".

However, the letter doesn't state when I should get my fingerprints taken. Do I wait for a separate notice for that to come in the mail? If so, about how long does it take?

That is just confirming receipt of your application. The notice to get the biometrics done will be sent next, how long depends on where it is being done.

My guess would be you will receive the biometrics notice in the next few weeks.

Make sure you keep that first one. That is proof you sent it in.
