A single affidavit but loads of good evidence

Does anyone think there would be a problem if we only have 1 affidavit from one of my husband's friends? We planned on 2 but my mother and father in law have had some health issues and been in and out of the hospital so we haven't gotten together with them lately.

We have plenty of other excellent evidence from:

- joint tax returns (2) from the IRS (transcripts)

- examples of cards/ envelopes/ general mail sent to us jointly or separartely at our address

- multiple bills in our names

- letter from the bank confirming our accounts and that they are joint

- shared health insurance cards

- shared credit cards

- deed for our house

affidavits are not the most viable evidence so you should be fine with one. If you can get two it's better because i think the form asks for at least 2 of them.

I also understood from the instructions that we needed two; however, many couples did not send any and were approved quickly. The financial proof is the strongest anyway (your bank accounts, credit cards) so I wouldn't worry about it if you're ready to send in the package and the only thing missing is one affadavit.

Your evidence looks good to me. I removed my conditions without any affidavit. All I sent was bills and financial documents.

I agree, your evidence looks good on its own. You should be fine with just the one affidavit. I too had lots of good evidence and no affidavits and I was approved without an RFE. Good luck .

Thanks all - turned out we got up to my in laws yesterday and got the 2nd letter - being the paranoid person that I am - my MIL practically wrote book, we had to reign her in
