Hey all. Thanks in a great part to this site, my wife and I were able to navigate the immigration process and we have been more than happily married for over 2 years now. She has been in school or the last year working on a PhD and she needs some help with a paper she is writing. She wants to know why American men are looking for Russian women.

I lived and worked in Ukraine for two years and was spoiled, that is the short answer.

I appreciated WOMEN who celebrate being a woman, who haven't surrendered their power in an attempt to be "equal" to men, and recognize women are NOT the same as men and ENJOY the separate and distinct role each plays in a family. I did not "seek" a Russian/Ukrainian wife, I met my wife by chance like many other people meet, but I would never have settled for an American wife after living there for the time I did.

I think it is a tremendous mistake that women feel they are not "equal" to men or need to prove they are, when in fact they are distinctly different (which has nothing to do with "equaity") At any rate, I no longer care what American women think they have to prove or achieve, they are welcome to it, makes no difference to me. I have a stunningly gorgeous Ukrainian wife and I am quite satisfied.

I wonder what that means? If this is such a great site, that helped them through the process, then why do they not have a timeline??????

VV maybe you don't understand. There are many trolls out there who think that American Men are specifically targeting the hot and "desperate" women for MOBs. This person comes onto our forum and states that he is deeply seated (2 yrs) and gives all sorts of thanks to VJ yet has no timeline. And is not even from our Region?

Does this not give you pause? If not, then we should have a conversation outside of this.

Maybe I too young here, I "M" does not ring a bell. Please elaborate. These forums are not the place to be so specific. Like I have told you, you have a better audience and comraderie over on the forums on Fiance.com

given the quickness at which the op joined vj and then started this thread (28 min between join time and start of thread), that this is the only post the member has made on vj, and the stated married for over 2 years (but not 3) and yet is filing for naturalization already, i can only assume this is a troll thread and therefore, i'm locking it.
