Gold Keeps breaking out to fresh highs. 2 year chart has a cup-with-handle pattern--very bullish. Is Gold due to tarnish or keep on shining as the dollar slides into oblivion? Long and strong GLD since 2004. The US Dollar chart is too depressing to post here, So I will spare you.

The price of gold should be higher. Anyone have any luck finding it locally?

Tangible assets. Gold and guns.

There's some gold floating around here. I can't afford that stuff though, but it's out there. Most of the folks I know who've bought some bought very little and are actually going with silver since it's easier to move in a pinch. Gold is better for value, but it's too valuable. What are you going to buy with a $1200 gold piece? Certainly not groceries!
