Who needs to fill out the DS-230

I'm expecting the first package in the post (someday) which says it will include the form DS-230 and after all the reading up i've done i cannot clearly determine if my UK spouse is the only one to fill this form out or will we both need to? Because it's a bit intimidating even imagining where i was twenty years ago.

The 'packet 3' docs contain the DS230-I of which there's only one and it's for the applicant (alien) to complete. So yep, just for your spouse. One less form for you to complete

Are K1 applicants required to complete Form DS-230? Or is it just for other visa types? Thanks a bunch?

Lol, you CAN do this. Take deep breaths.

Have you looked at the Sample Forms? The DS-230 is Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration. So, it is your UK hubby's application to apply for an Immigrant Visa. There are a couple of questions that pertain to you, e.g. #14 & #21a (you do live in the UK, yes?) everything else is for him.

Plenty of folks here have filed in the UK, so you have a lot of support here for you--just ask.

In all of the reading up you've done have you read the DS-230 itself? What it says in big bold letters right up at the top should give you a clue.
