I am soo blessed and soo thankful for today because I just received a letter that I have been approved for the 10year perm card thru waiver self petiitioning. I can't believe how unbelievably fast the process was. I had just got done my biometrics in July 2009 and a few weeks later received an RFE requesting more evidence by Nov 26. So I mailed in more evidence before the due date and next thing you know I received a letter in November 2009 that my whole case has been approved and I should be getting my 10 year card in the mail real soon! Thanks soo much for all the genuine advice from everybody here. It's been a long trip but now I am happy and settled. Happy Thanksgiving to all and God Bless!

Thank you all! For the ones that are still in waiting process for waiver due to divorce I sent:

-cover letter

-marriage certificate, divorce certificate

-wedding pictures and wedding invitation

-letter explaining in detail the nature of the relationship from beginning to end

-2 affidavits from my sister, and cousin-in-law with proven photos that they attended the wedding

-state i.d card, gym card, costco club card that shows a common address or common last name for the year we were together

-shared credit cards

-taxes files for the years we were together

-shared bank accounts with copies of bank statements

-letters and cards addressed to a common address or common last name

-dental receipts with both our names

-no utility bills, phone bills or mortgage/lease evidence due to the husband paying and sharing the bills with other household members that were living with us

and afterwards a RFE letter was sent requesting for more evidence of any children, proof of residence with husband, another letter explaining details of the wedding, special moments of the account of our marriage from beginning to end and the reasons, and more proof of shared accounts...

So therefore I mailed in a second time the following:

-cover letter

-i.d/gym card/costco card

-shared bank account statements

-more pictures

-another letter regarding the state of the marriage and end of the marriage

-dental receipts

-more letters and cards in both our names or common address

-taxes filed together

Good luck to you all!

congrats!
