Filing I-130 for spouse and stepchildren, will it take longer for stepchildren?

I am a US citizen currently staying with my wife in Australia. We're just about to send off our I-130 applications for her and her two children. I was wondering if anyone in this forum has gone through a similar situation and if it will take longer to get the visas for the kids?

Are you doing a DCF?

Kids don't take any longer.

How old are the kids?

Assuming they are minors, they can be applied for at the same time and, if visas are granted, immigrate at the same time as her.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

If you file all three I-130 petitions together, they will all complete the process together. Not sure why you're posting in the K3 forum though. If you are filing directly with the Consulate in OZ, they well get CR1 and CR2 visas, not K3 and K4.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
