SO, the stupid CSC continues to mess us with us :ranting::ranting::ranting:

They kept saying they will process our petitions according the NOA1 date! I see that they are cases from April approved instead. Where are the NOA2 for March 6th?????

Our NOA 1is March 6th 2006. We've been abused, neglected and lied systematically from the beginning of K1 process. It looks like this is how our life in US will look like.... I hope someone form CSC reads this. You ARE BIG JERKS California Center! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!

We have an early March NOA 1 date .....I am so angry too  -I am actually hoping the "newbie" that posted an late April NOA 1 approval on the other thread is a troll.

I thought they were going to process in order of NOA 1 date ( providing the IMBRA RFE has been received for that petition) , in which case the completed petitions ( IMBRA compliant ones) with the earlier NOA 1 date should be processed first....But CSC just seems to be a law unto themselves!

Abigail is not a troll. Uzy36 might be though.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Being processed isn't the same as being approved. Think of it like this: if my case is complicated, and I have an early NOA1, and your case is easy, should we hold your case while mine goes through extra background checks just so our approvals come out 'fair'? Should the workers do nothing, day after day, until my background check comes back?

That doesn't seem right. You'll drive yourself nuts comparing your case with others. Contact the CSC if you need to, and get on their case as people have been doing, as things seem deeply fubared there. But getting jealous because someone else's NOA2 came through earlier though their NOA1 was later is counterproductive. Every case is unique.

Hmm makes me wonder though seeing one of the approvals from CSC has a July 6 RFE received date.. I had July 5 but I know some people had before the 5th and they didn't get approved.. I still think they are doing the dart board process. :)

My buddy found through trial and error, a dozen or so other I-129F case numbers and checked them, just the other day. Out of 12, 7 had not yet returned their RFI's. So this makes it clear why they cannot hold everyone up who has a later NOA1 waiting for cases that are slow to respond to the RFE.

No one was saying that petitions with later NOA 1 dates should be held up waiting for earlier petitions that are not yet compliant with IMBRA. It would seem fair that given the choice between 2 petitions that are IMBRA compliant that the one with the earliest NOA 1 date should be processed first, no?

I still think uzy is a troll, and that's nothing to do with jealousy-it's just obvious to me he is.

You're quite right on that. Ideally, yes. Two identical cases with different NOA1s and perfect RFEs would get processed at the same time. But every case is different, and no one knows the details, so the assumption is simply 'it's unfair, they're processed first.'

It would make it much easier if people could *know* that they were in security checks or whatever's slowing it down.

I think uzy is a troll, too, because it's reading like one.

crilvsk, have you tried contacting your senator? I think at this point, contacting senators and congressman and raising hell is the only option we have left.

Kitkat1,

thank you for suggestion. My fiance will definitely contact his senator again. The first time he contacted him was a month ago. At that time, he was pretty helpful, only that CSC lied to him too, just as they do to my fiance almost each time he contacts USCIS by phone. This is very frustrating and hurts so bad.

Someone earlier stated that it might be jealousy involved. I'm not too sure to whom he was addressing. As about me, there is not a drop of jealousy for the ones that already got approved. I'm happy for them! I wish my fiance and I were just treated correctly and not like some criminals that deserve to be lied and yelled at each time we try to find out what's going on with our case. We really did nothing to deserve such a treatment. We understand this process goes slower for some countries. We understand that those from CSC are people... and so on. We just don't understand why we need to be treated so miserable.... I'm sorry, I really don't understand this. I was crying and asking myself and Gog this all day long. I know nothing yet....maybe just because we are not some rich people with big mouths and prestige. I don't know. I just know that all this unfair process hurts so bad, not mentioning the pain the separation of the one I love more then my own life brings.

Have a great day everybody,

crilvsk

Of course I dont KNOW, but it seems highly likely that each individual petiotio is as unique as the persons listed. I strongly suspect that the caseworkers start the process in order of the dates rec'vd...but some things just happen faster than others, for example the caseworker may order a name search on petition A and while waiting strart reviewing petition B.

I dont expect the workers are "putting out the fire" everyday but lets be honest, Do we all give 110% EVERY day on our own jobs? I have faith that these people are doing their best, I am in a hurry as well but try to comprehend the MASSIVE amount of requests that come in every day...

Best of luck to all

That's great and very understanding of you, in fact I was saying much the same until about a month ago too. I am wondering what you would be feeling like if you are waiting almost 5 months for an approval ( I really hope you do not have to wait that long, BTW :) ) Hopefilly by the time yours gets processed CSC will have sorted things out

I'm going to be on my 6th month soon, but that's because I got setback by an RFE.. and it was the damn RFE that put me into the IMBRA mess... oh well.

Yes, I am waiting to be re-approved. I said above that I haven't been touched since July 12. There was no updatew tih that touch, just the same as appeared July 11, that the RFE had been received by CSC. Sorry if this was confusingl I thought the thread was asking if anyone had been touched lately. I was responding, no, not a thing since July 12.
