Congrats on the visa/travel.

Anniversaries are very special. A funny note with mine is that this Monday would have been my 22nd wedding anniversary with my ex.

Tuesday my fiancée aced the interview and will get the visa within a week.

The ending of one chapter followed by the beginning of another.

My ex came to see my 83 yr old mom with my two kids today.

I asked a simple question about my older daughter's trip t the emergency room while I was in Thailand.

I get the insurance reports online but no details, just the billing.

My kid wouldn't tell me & my ex said she wouldn't tell me either.

Then she shouts angrily at me "BECAUSE YOU LEFT!"

I left around 5 years ago, thank you very much.

She hasn't learned anything obviously because she stopped giving me

emotional/moral support practically the day we married and I foolishly

waited for her to stop being angry. I thought she might mellow out

with me out of the picture but it seems whatever the question, the

answer is it's always my fault. I'm so thankful that I can live and learn

from this experience. She still has some work to do.
