What delivery service does the US Embassy use?

My fiance lives in Cebu and I'm wondering what mail service they will use to mail out PACKET 3 to her...I know someone mentioned Air 21 but she's never heard of that. I ask because the regular mail she has is horribly unreliable. They don't even deliver it to her door most the time.

hi sage...i never received a packet from USEM for more than a month now...but my friend who lives in the same city where I live got it via DHL...im sure ur fiancee heard about it...just so u know Air21 is for local/domestic deliveries and FEDEX, the sister company is for international deliveries..well, thats how Air21 courier works here in my city...

im not sure where u are now as far as ur K-1 journey is concerned but if i were u, better not to expect for the packet to arrive via mail...coz u can download all forms (156-157-156k) and instructions from the USEM website...

as for ur interview date, a week after u got the NVC letter, call USEM and they will right away send u or ur fiancee the confirmation email....that will suffice everything...just dont forget other important letters and proofs

btw,,as per reading, its Air21 that will deliver ur girl's visa after a successful interview ...

Hi there,

I am not sure if The US embassy uses Air 21 to deliver the packet. I used my friend's address in my case since my address is incomplete ( no street number,etc) in my case, but was not able to get it from them ( so I do not know the courier) since we just downloaded the same forms from the USCIS website. They do use Air 21 in delivering the visa.

Do not worry as Air 21 probably has offices in main cities or provinces in the Philippines.

I got my USEM letter stating that I can schedule for my interview (i think that's the packet3) via DHL. Air21 is for the VISA delivery. But you don't have to wait for the packet3 snail mail.. once the NVC forwarded the case to USEM, give them 3 days then you can go ahead and start calling the embassy for interview schedule.

They will send you the letter stating you are eligible for a visa interview schedule. Do not expect for the packet anymore...just the letter and they will send it through Air21. Btw, Air21 is fast and reliable...nothing to worry God bless you on your interview.

I received my NOA2 dated on Nov 12 but neither my fiancé or I have received a letter or anything since. Is this a bad thing? How do I find out the status of our petition once the NVC gets it? How do I tell if the embassy received it?

Sometimes it takes almost a month for the NVC to received the approved petition and about 2 weeks for the consulate from the NVC. Don't worry it will get there If you want you can call the embassy to inquire about it and then if it's already there then you can request for a schedule of interview.

Most of us called the NVC to get the MNL case number and find when it was forwarded to the USEM. Phone number 603-334-0700 Early morning or 15 minutes before closing seem to be the best time to reach someone. With a K visa you must talk to a CSR.

Does anyone know the reliability of AIR 21 ? the reason I ask is because my FINACEE lives in HILONGOS, LEYTE out in the boondocks.... She doesnt even have a street address only BARANGAY SAN ROQUE.

YEs they seem a reliable courier. When they send out the visa you can keep track of it since they will be texting you from time to time until it reaches the final destination and even text you stating that you have received the visa. It's different from just a simple correspondence though like letters from the embassy co'z you won't get any text msg.

Btw, it is easier to find someone in the "Bundok" even if they dont have a complete address because they seems to know everyone who lives there even if their neighbor is another "Bundoks" away. So when somebody ask for someone they know where to locate them. Unlike in some cities especially in a high-end village, people doesn't care to know who are their neighbors hehehe.
