Hello Gurus - USEM called my wife and wanted her to show up to tackle the next steps involved with K3 processing. We have a completed CR1 sitting at NVC waiting for interview date which I believe will be assigned next month.

Should we notify USEM about the fact that we do not want to pursue k3 go with CR1. Not sure if not informing them can screw things up later while CR1 interview..

If your I-130 is complete, just disreguard the k-3 traffic. You dont need to worry about it anymore.

I get that but in my case the US Embassy literally "called" my spouse ...She didn't tell them anything about CR1, but was concerned if we should?

It doesn't matter. FYI "USEM" is the abbreviation used here for US Embassy Manila, not just any US Embassy.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
