Hi Everyone,

I have a complicated question... back in May of 1998 my stepmother filed an I130. I was 17 yrs old at the time. INS requested evidence of her birthcertificate as a US Citizen and a copy of her and my fathers marriage certificate. We had family problems and my father began to physically abuse me so I ran away from home and filed VAWA under my father who is a permanent resident. I was granted my VAWA and because I am not over the age of 21, I'm still waiting for a visa to come available under my category, 2B. Well my question is, would I be able to filed under my step mom again providing proof now that the reason the documents were requested was because I had left home because of abuse? I have all the paperwork now.
