Hello UK VJ Members!

I had this crazy idea the other day and had run it by some of the other UK members and they said that they would be interested...I wanted to go ahead and get the idea out there now before the holidays hit and everyone gets really busy with interviews and moving, etc... I thought after all that we have been through that it might be fun sometime late next year (2010) once everyone has gotten settled in their lives, married, AOS filed, etc...that we could have some type of UK VJ reunion on a weekend somewhere here in the states. This would also include obviously any UK VJ members at any stage of the process....This has been a very emotional ride for all of us and I know that we could have not made it this far without you guys. I just wanted to throw out the idea and see if any of you would even be remotely interested. Once I have an idea of the interest, then we can look at more concrete details and see what would work or if we can even make it happen. Also, if anyone has any ideas...please share. If you are interested...send me a PM with your email address so I can start to get a list together...

Theoretically would love to. Would depend on when and where, from a cost POV. Why don't we all meet in Tucson in September and everyone can come to our wedding (hopefully!) lol

I would be VERY interested if we can afford it.

I've always wanted to explore more of the US, what a great excuse to do so. :D

I think Las Vegas is a good choice since it tends to be cheap to fly there from anywhere in the country and they have great deals on hotels, too.

I second that - especially because it's only 4 1/2 hours up the freeway from me!

FYI, I used to live in Vegas & work @ the Stardust. If you can get enough people interested, you can get a group rate from one of the hotels, and have people call the hotels themselves to confirm...

That sounds fun! Can't wait to meet up with you guys!

Nik hasn't been to Vegas yet, and it's reasonably close to AZ... I think Proximity to AZ should be a weighting factor what with 3 or 4 active members from there. *nods very seriously* I'm not biassed or anything. :D

Sending Ginny a PM now. :D

Yes, I vote for Vegas also. I am 4 1/2 hours UP from Vegas. Dave 'proposed' about an hour outside of Vegas... ok, not really. But it was the closest thing to a proposal I got besides the intent to marry letter. LOL!!
