Hi guys and ladies, i need to ask about a ticket.

well 2 years ago i went for fishing and i parked my car on the parking place so for sure there was a lil coin machine, well seems i dint put enough money and when i got back to the car i saw there a lil Yellow envelope i opend it, it was a ticket. so my spouse paid $25 on a check and sent it to the DMV..

now is this conceder a traffic ticket? and when i apply for my Citizenship do i need to mention that to the interviewer ? but the thing is my name wasnt there and i wasnt the for the police officer to ask me my license, Oh 1 more thing the car it's not on my name its on my spouse name..

so what do u think?

Thank you.

Could move to Wisconsin, we don't have parking meters at our fishing holes. I don't know whether to take your post seriously or not.

This is not Singapore. Parking tickets doesn't have weight to hold you against your immigrant status.

So how heavy are parking tickets in Singapore? 25 lbs? 50 lbs? What are they made of? Lead?

I think it's made of lead. You don't pay up, they'll throw them at you with a sling shot.

since it happened at a fishing hole ... maybe in S'pore they'd tie the lead ticket to your ankle and toss you into the deep water ....

They do have to give you a choice of which ocean (Indian or Pacific) you want to be tossed in.

That's why they call it a Singapore Sling.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

You may be deported for getting a parking ticket, even though you paid it. It is a serious offense, almost like murder.

Parking tickets are very serious, if you're a Muslim they'll give you the death penalty. :P Seriously, it won't affect a thing. You paid up so who cares.
