Happy Thanksgiving to Americans & all the Canadians living in the U.S.

I'll be there next year. Maybe even experience the whole "Black Friday" hoopla.........

or not

Lol My wife has Friday off but I don't, she's so excited for a whole day of shopping with deals everywhere and me not being there trying to escape constantly :)

Lol...

I don't know if I could fight the crowd! Even with my elbows out, all 5' of me might get trampled, haha

Haha That's funny, my wife is about 5'1ish too, luckily she's scrappy and would probably take down someone twice her size. Unfortunately we live in Michigan though so most people here weigh more than 180 pounds so she may be doomed haha

My wife has been back since June 5, 2007. Now we're just livin' man, L I V I N :)

Kind of bittersweet in some respects, today, as before all of the interview hoopla, it was planned that I would go visit Ben for this week and celebrate with the family.

I kinda think he's relieved, though, as I promised him I had every intention of contributing to the madness on Friday somewhere, just to saw I had.

I'm going for a turkey lunch. It's different being thrown into the family stuff only a day after getting here, then my birthday's tomorrow

Crazy.

I'm getting hungry. We have reservations at 11:00 so only have an hour to go. Unfortunately for me the Claim Jumper we are going to is in the South Coast Mall so Claudeth will certainly have to shop after dinner

I had Claim Jumper turkey to celebrate Canadian thanksgiving in October. I was pleasantly surprised! Pretty good stuff!

Happy thanksgiving everyone!! It feels so weird celebrating thanksgiving in November, but I won't complain. Lots of good food and I'm not cooking! :P

Yea, I was planning on going to the U.S for Thanksgiving, but because of the timing of the interview, that changed things.

I guess I could've tried to get in with my Nexus card, but eh. I've decided to work & try to make as much $$ as I can, while I can, lol.

8/2/2021:  Mailed N-400

8/4/2021: N-400 received

8/6/2021:  Biometrics to be reused
3/15/2022:  Interview (successful)

Just a few minutes to visit my "VJ friends" as my wife refers to you all...

But yes, just getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner in a couple of hours. Seventeen people are going to be here overall, so as you can imagine, the household is in full clean mode. So far I've only had to clean a few chairs, mind you...hmm...they must be going easy on me.

Old Navy was open today with some huge sales, so my wife and I went there and stood in line for forty-five minutes to save $50 on what would have been $120 in clothes... Hell, it was worth it. :P

Hope y'all are having a good day!

That turkey lunch was better than the turkey dinner I had in Canada.

Yum.
