This is just not possible. Everybody knows that every single person living in sec 8 housing is a criminal and a drug addict. And a member of one of the minorities that commits the majority of crimes.

So they are the opposite then? Why don't you live in section 8 then tough guy? Better yet, rent out your Baaawston properties to section 8.

As I have watched the "White Flight" patters up close, it is hard not to notice nearly all whites flee the neighborhoods as the demographics hit a tipping point.

In fact Libs claim to love the Poor folks and diverse neighborhoods but rather than seek out these areas to move... which would have plenty of both.... they don't; EVEN THOUGH THE PRICES ARE 25 TO 50 PERCENT LESS!

And we are talking about the same types of houses they eventually do buy...not the Hood.

I would guess you are right, you can land next door to riff-raff anywhere you live (ask my neighbors).

Section eighters simply increase the odds, but there is not reason to brand all section 8'ers as bad neighbors by any means.

BUt lets be honest, if your neighborhood went 50% section 8 tomorrow ...... you would notice the difference and property values would decrease no?

Actually I am the only one here who has a fax, received by mistake at my NY fax number, sent to section 8 housing in Jersey, that talks about multiple assault and violence being the reason for being kicked out of the previous section 8. "Didz nuthin wrang"

There are more people on Section 8 in the United States than the whole population of Australia.

Most of them are white. Regardless of color, don't the sheer numbers add a little to the possibility of why the system is so messed up?
