just called in today and operator gave me the interview date i cant believe thanks ALLAH it was so fast in four days i get case completed and interview date on jan 07 good luck to all

When will they dispatch these files to the embassy?

Our interview is set for Jan 25th but I was told that the embassy can change the interview date, if they have slot open prior to that. Anyone aware of this?

2009-09-30 -> I-130 Approved

2009-10-15 -> Received/Sent DS-3032

2009-10-15 -> Received/Paid I-864 Bill

2009-10-19 -> Send I-864 Packet

2009-10-26 -> NVC Received DS-3032

2009-10-28 -> Receive/Pay IV Bill Pay

2009-10-29 -> Send DS-230 (Overnight)

2009-10-30 -> NVC Received (DS-230) 11:00 AM

2009-11-03 -> NVC Entered DS-230 in system.

2009-11-09 -> Received email requesting DS-230....

2009-11-12 -> Log in to Consular Electronic App Center failed!!

2009-11-13 -> Case complete

2010-01-12 -> Rescheduled from [2010-01-25] Interview [Approved]

2010-01-14 -> Pick up passport.

Alhamduillah we got our interview appt! My husband has been calling NVC every day since our case completion Oct 2. Today he didn't call because he was starting to recognize NVC operator names :P. We were just talking on the phone when he received the appointment letter via email. He asked me to update everyone on VJ because he can't stop shaking long enough to type out anything :)

Thank you to all VJers who have been a big help to us. We are one step closer to being together. Our prayers are with you guys still waiting on your appts. Inshallah they will start rolling out appts this week and next.

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Does anyone know if I can get in with my wife to the interview? She would like me to be with her.

I guess it is embassy specific, not sure...US Embassy in Nepal lets you go in with the applicant..
