OMG!

My cases were approved on October 27th. I received my approval notice from my local office but never got my hardcopy from USCIS. It's almost 30days now and I haven't received it. So, i called USCIS and this lady told me to fill out this form to get a duplicate of my hardcopy and the fee would be $340!! I NEVER received my hardcopy to begin with so why should i pay to get a duplicate? It is USCIS's job to mail out a hardcopy once a petition is approved. If it's THEIR fault for not sending one out to me, why should I pay for it while others are getting theirs for free. Gosh, this is so fustrating.

Secondly, my case STILL hasn't made it to NVC after a whole month from being approved. I need someone to contact other then NVC and USCIS who can actually help me. Any contact information?

i really hope you get ur problem fixed soon because im actually in the same situation except that ive actually been waiting 6 months for my case to be forwarded to NVC, there is definitely something going on with USCIS, weve tried everything emailing them, my husband (USC) had an infopass appt where supposebly they did have a problem n the case wasnt able to be sent but they were forwarding it to NVC those days well those days have been 1 month n more now n still NVC has not gotten it. I really dont know what to do, i dont know if its NVC or the USCIS office??

Wow, I would have gone insane. I called USCIS and insisted in talking to a supervisior. told him my problem and he said he will put in a service request and get it forwarded to the NVC. Within a week it got to the NVC and now its on its way to the Embassy. So, try calling an USCIS and dont talk to a operator, ask for a supervisior. Goodluck.
