We received an RFE today for my husbands medical. He came here on a K3, had his medical in London.... at the airport he handed over the sealed brown envelope, so the only thing we physically have is the receipt showing that the medical was paid for. I sent in the I-693A vaccine supplement. What do we do? How do I get proof that the medical was done in London.

I'm going a bit crazy here guys, and the stress is giving my hubby severe headaches. Why do they take it from you if you may need it for the AOS paperwork?

Please help!!! :help::crying::wacko:

EAD took exactly 90 days

6-21-06 I485 mailed

6-28-06 NOA1

11-20-06 INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!!!!

APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has happened before to a number of people. It could be one of many reasons that they are asking for another medical.

Even though its going to suck big time, the best course of action is to have another full medical (I-693) completed with an authorized US doctor.. This way your AOS case won't be further delayed or even declined..

I agree with Infidel. The people I have read on VJ that tried to fight this delayed their case and still ended up taking another exam anyway.

Be careful abut the phone line. They will tell you that you don't have to take the exam right up until you get the denial letter.

When you got the RFE a counter began and there is no real way to stop it without providing what they asked for.

I know it sucks, and it is completely wrong. It is really a shame that the people on the hotline aren't trained a little better and given some power to fix obvious problems with the system.

30 June 08 Sent I751 to remove conditions

25 July 08 Application returned erroneously incorrect fee

27 July mailed new application with separate checks

15 Sept 08 Application returned erroneously K2 not within 90 day timeframe

17 Sept Mailed 3rd application with mountains of proof of error copied Senator Mel Martinez

09 October 4th application package sent. This time they said the app signature page was a copy

10 Oct Sent package again 4th time.

25 Oct Received another NOA for Wife with $625 for the amount with one year extension

30 Oct 2008 Still nothing for step daughter. Checks still haven't cleared the bank

24 November Checks finally cleared the bank

February biometrics for wife Nothing for daughter.
