i went to the doctor here in the UK to try and get my vaccinations record and get up to date before my medical and was told some of the vaccinations were not available in the UK.

what does a 27 year old need in the uk?

what is the difference between DTP and Tdap? I have had DTP but not Tdap (the doctor told me you can't get this in the UK, i see nothing on the medical papers that confirm this).

Also I have had MR but states I need MMR, is this the same?

As for as I can see this is all I need?

It's a longer answer than you want, but I happened to look this up last year. Keep in mind this is a US list made up by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) so it's US available immunizations.

DTP in the US is Diptheria, Tetnus, and Pertussis (whooping cough) and is a series given to babies. In the UK, your P stand for polio, so it's a combined thing that included polio, so a difference in the countries with similar names.

The list was even more confusing when we went through London because there was

DTP, DTaP, DT, Td, and Tdap. So what I learned was a CAPITAL letter means a bigger dose of that particular immunization in the mix. The US used Tdap to give a big dose of Tetnus, but a lesser dose of Diptheria and Pertussis (whooping cough) because adults had bad reactions to the full childhood mix. That Tdap mix is only available in the US and is a fairly new drug.

My fiance/husband got this childhood version...he lined up with the babies at NHS. And he got an MMR.

That was all he needed to adjust status. You don't have to get any shots and wait until arriving in the US, but I highly reccommend that you get those two shots and tell them you had chickenpox (varicella shot) and you'll be good to go sending in the immunization sheet from the UK medical and can skip the Civil Surgeon expense in the US for AOS.

So here's the 2009 CDC list of immunizations straight from the CDC. If you look at the footnote 1 on page two under the chart, it will explain in detail the Td, DTP etc. In general you will need a shot if it's been 10 years since your series....like a booster. MMR is covered in footnote 5 on page three.
