Hello! I would like to ask if my PHILHEALTH is still covered while I'm here in the US? Also, if I'm not covered with the PHILHEALTH, what are the temporary health insurance plans that I can sign up for until my fiance and I get married? :unsure:

Philhealth is only applicable in the Philippines. In some states, you don't have to be wife, to be included in health insurance. Have your fiance check if he can include you as his partner.

11/28/2011 - Sent response to RFE

01/13/2012 - Ordered card production (Approved)

01/19/2012 - 10 yrs GC received

If you want to purchase temporary health insurance than einsurance is a good online source. Coverage will depend upon your location. We liked Blue Cross Blue Shield, but our friend that lived in another state chose a different plan. Just enter your zip code and compare:

PS. If you have not seen US prices for health insurance make sure you are sitting down.

Also, check with your local insurance agent. I once found a better price than online through an agent.
