(Aside from Visa Journey, our family is doing well.)

5 months before his graduation from Chululongkorn in July, my Thai

stepson already has offers from 3 major foreign & Thai companies

to work with them on R&D with full benefits.

I've always been proud of my wife and her pride in him is also my pride. :dance::dance::dance:

She feels relieved now that things are really happening for him and feels less anxious about being so far away from him. :yes:

I am sorry. One of the questions was, "did she have sex with him?" You mean the CO asked your fiancee if she had sex with her ex-husband ???

Yes that was one question so be ready for anything.

I had to laugh when I heard her answer, but what she said is between her & me.

It was an answer appropriate to the question that effectively squelched it.

Her ex has been and will continue to be a friend of mine.

They have moved on and made peace in the mutual interest of their son,

who is a top student in the top university in Bangkok.

My ex, on the other hand, uses the kids as weapons against me.

Personally I prefer their approach. Their relationship, as well as most "ex"

relationships is not totally smooth, but regarding the son they are on the same team.

By the way, he is supportive of her relationship with me and has no problems now

that we are married. He has NO interest in emigrating to the US. His English is

only marginal (good enough to speak with me but not good enough to hold a job

in an English speaking country) and he is close enough to retirement that thoughts

of another career in the USA would be pretty much absurd.

Good for her telling that CO essentially that it's none of his business! Man, I can't BELIEVE some of the questions I've heard consulates ask.

When will you guys file for AOS?

We have our interview set, whoo! Though she'll probably have her green card by the time David gets here this summer, lol.

9/9: Mailed N-400 package off

9/11: Arrived at Dallas, TX

9/17: NOA

9/19: Check cashed

9/23: Received NOA

10/7: Text from USCIS on status update: Biometrics in the mail

10/9: Received Biometrics letter

10/29: Biometrics

10/31: In-line

2/16: Text from USCIS that Baltimore has scheduled an interview...finally!!

2/24: Interview letter received

3/24: Naturalization interview

Green Card (very very high tech) came in the mail yesterday (August 2, 2010)

-> 127 days from sending the AOS package.

No more USCIS for another 2 years! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
