I sent my RFE back on 7/14/06 and it was signed for by the CSC on the morning of 7/17/06. However I still have no email or status update that they have received it. Is this normal? Since I didn't get anything today I'm starting to get a little worried. :huh:

That's normal. I submitted mine on June 28, it was signed for on June 29th. I didn't get the email until July 5 (dated July 3) that they received it. It looks like sometimes it takes up to a week!

Same thing happening to us from Vermont.

Average of 7 days from mailing to update.

yeah, as i posted earlier, my fiance mailed back the RFE to CSC on July 11th and we didn't get the email about the receipt til today.

TIMELINE

K1 visa 2006

May 9th Sent I-129 petition

May 16th NOA1 telling us they sent our case to California Service Center

June 23rd IMBRA RFE

Sept. 5th NOA2!!!!

Dec. 12th Interview at Consulate APPROVED!!!

Dec. 14th Visa received

2007

March 19th Move to the US!

AOS

June 15th Sent AOS and AED package

June 25th NOA1s for AOS and AED

July 21st Appointment for Biometrics

July 24th RFE (co-sponsor's passport copy) sent back

Sept. 10th EAD aproved

Sept. 12th EAD card received in the mail

Oct. 9th AOS Interview. APPROVED!!!

Oct. 19th GREEN CARD received!!

126 days!!!

Did you overnight yours?

We overnight our RFE on July 14th, the same day we received it, and they have not posted a received status online until now. They touched us on July 18th, but they did not change the message yet. I don't know what is taking them long to put it into their system :blink:

Jan. 30 - I-212 check fee was cashed (no case # stamped at the back) - no NOA1

Mar. 25 - Engagement

May 05 - I-129F - date of NOA1

May 12 - received I-129F NOA1 from CSC in mail

May 12 - I-129F touched

Jun. 27 - I-129F touched THREE TIMES

(RFE was sent on 6/23....)

- change of address updated

Jul. 04 - I-129F touched

Jul. 05 - I-129F touched

Jul. 10 - I-129F touched (On July 8, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.)

Jul. 11 - I-129F touched

Jul. 14 - IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/10 was received in the mail and mailed it back via overnight delivery

Jul. 18 - I-129F touched

Jul. 22 - 2nd IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/18 was received in the mail

Jul. 24 - 2nd RFE sent via overnight delivery

Jul. 25 - I-129F touched - status update: RFE received on 7/25

I am still waiting for response from both my RFEs. I sent back the first one on 7/5 recieved abouto 4-5 days later) The second one was received on 7/20/06 nothing was recievd neither snail mail or emai, not even a touch :crying::crying::crying::protest::cry:

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

oh, wow, I'm so sorry... It's been happening, these duplicate RFEs. sigh.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
