yes, doors open about 45 minutes away at midnight thursday night. doors in my hometown open at 3. so we are going to drive down do some shopping there, then drive back up for more shopping. my mom gets off at 9:30pm on thanksgiving, so she is making the drive with me. then she has to work on friday morning, and my sister who gets off at midnight will continue with me on my shopping trips.

This year I have to take my son back to college the day after. There's a Target in the town where his school is. Might have to hit that.

I never do, but have to this year. My kids asked for Nintendo DS and they are really expensive with the games and stuff, so I'll be one of those crazy moms out there at 4am.

I was here two years ago, didn't know what Black Friday was and my now sister-in-law and I went out at 6:00 am! I loved it, got some great deals. ( Had to be careful as I was bringing it all back to Canada and only had so much room in my suitcase )

This year, a friend said she is going, and will likely pick me up EARLIER than I went out before Tim says "have fun" ! He doesn't go... I'm a shopaholic and so a nice deal or two is always worth it. I hope to find some more goodies for Tim for Christmas. I plan on spoiling him rotten as this is FINALLY the first one we've had together.

No. Absolutely not. There is no more cringeworthy sight than a horde of retards (that have invariably been camped outside the store overnight, sad bastards that they are) clamouring to get inside, and then jostling, pushing, and in some cases fighting each other, just so that they can get their hands on some discounted tat. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the poor sod that worked at the Long Island WalMart, that paid for this idiocy with his life last year.

If you want/need something, don't embarress yourself by becoming a part of the Black Friday mongfest; just go buy it at a regular time.

I do Black Friday "online" as the sales usually start at Midnight on Thurs night and I am always up anyway!!! I did not see the virtual black friday option
