Made it through the sputum nightmare

I called tonight for the results of my fiances sputum testing. I was advised that he should report at St. Lukes with his passport, reciept and original appt letter for immunizations. Does anybody know and estimated time when they may reschedule the interview. My fiance lives in Cebu so I was thinking that he can just stay in Manila and wait for the interview. Do you guys think that's fesable?

hi there...im sorry to hear about the sputum test of ur fiance...

i also had a painful ordeal at slec...its bcoz of my annulment grounds...they just dont deal with medical/health problems of visa applicants..they told me grounds such as psycho. incapacity should be interviewed by their psychiatrist and if not satisfied, must take the 600 item personality and IQ tests..so i had to fly back and forth to their clinic for a month and my supposed interview date was last Nov. 5 but was moved due to all the tests they told me to take ( pls. see my timeline below...) but i called last friday (nov. 20) and slec told me the nearest int. date they can give me is dec. 4 which isnt bad...so ill go back for my immunization on dec. 1 and then int. on the 4th...i can actually head off and get my shots but sir clark told me to do it close to my int. date since m living in mindanao..

my only guess is once a visa applicant has a problem at slec and had original interview schedule, they will prioritize them for the interview..just try to call and inquire \,,,i can give u the # of Sir Clark, the one in charge at Counter M where sputum applicants/further evaluation are being assessed..he is the one who will let u know the updates when u gonna have the immunization and int....here are the tel#s but pls. bear in mind that its hard to get through..so be patient---02 524-6083 ; 02-521-8647 local 105...

Glad to hear your fiance's sputum culture test is negative. My children and I had our medical at st luke's last week( Nov 16). My son and i passed ,however my daughter was required to undergo sputum smear test. As soon as the result turned negative, my son and i had our interview yesterday( this was our original schedule) and we were approved. So we are now waiting for the results of the culture test which will be this jan 18.

We will be interested and appreciate if you can update, as to what was required of your fiance and when your fiance get the interview so this will be our basis in our timeframe and planning. We intend to travel with her to the states, so while processing my authority to travel abroad at the same time, we will wait for the results of her test.

Hi congrats!!! saw that your fiance was negative in the sputum culture test and has completed the vaccination and got a new schedule of interview. May i know if the new schedule of his interview was given by st luke's or he requested for such date. I am interested to know coz my daughter's result will be on the Jan 18. Our planned departure is feb 6, and we are now looking into the possibility that my daughter can travel with us. Thanks.
