"arrived at 6:10. 2 people in line before me. Doors opened at 6:35. very nice people. handed in letter from consulate at front desk went to clean large waiting room.

called my name within 10 minutes to register. Took about 20 minutes to register and pay my millions. Filled out my courier address form and paid for that. Went straight to x-ray and waited for about 2 minutes. Tamara (the nasty x-ray lady) came out and got me. Did my x-ray. She was a very nice lady. Not very gentle, but not at all mean or nasty. Left there and went to the examination room with the kids. took blood pressure. Did kids eye exams. Went to the waiting room for 2 minutes then got called for blood work. The vampire was very gentle and wonderfully nice. We chatted and she took my blood. Was out by 8:10am. Overall experience was good and not at all nasty like on the website. Everyone was nice, the office was ok. Our examination room was blue with butterfly pictures all over the wall. The x-ray room was tiny and messy. "

The doctor at Dr. Siedens in Montreal asked me about my vision and if I wore glasses. I told him I good vision and didn't wear glasses, so maybe that statement pre-empted the vision test!

how do you know if they pass the medicals? are you advised before the interviews?

The package you receive from them (either by pick-up or mail) is proof of having passed the medical.

The package you receive from them (either by pick-up or mail) is proof of having passed the medical.

If you didn't pass they would tell you, and it is only likely to happen if something serious showed up on the Xray or while they were examining them.

Congrats!

I was feeling more nerve-wracked for my medical package than I have been for my visa, simply because I was cutting it so close to my interview date. It was definitely a relief to finally have it in hand.
