All;

I received 2 emails from NVC today around 5:00PM.

- One email stat is for the Choice of Agent

- second one is asking for $70 to start the process.

My question is do i need to wait for the snail mail and then to start the process or i can go on-line and submit the $70 fee.

And can my wife send the email for choice of agent or does she also have to wait for the mail to reach overseas and then she has to email.

Please advicey soon so i can start the process.

you can go ahead and pay your aos bill

based on my experience, i think your wife should both email her signed DS3032 AND snail mail it

the email can take a bit longer to process but its worth sending it while the physical copy is in transit via snail mail

best wishes!

Bunz; Thank you for the fast reply. I will go ahead and make the payment rite now. But i am still little confused about the DS3032. Can she email it rite now as we have alrready prepared the email according to the smaple oprovided on this forum or does she have to wait for the physical paper.

I was thinking if she can email today and then when she receives the mail she can sign that and also send it out. Please advice if that is the route i should take.

one of the documents you received in your email is supposed to be the choice of agent form

look through them again and fill out the form, scan it and email it and she can go ahead and mail the physical paper as well

you don't have to wait on them to snail mail you anything

Bunz;

Once again thank you for the fast reply. yes that form is there in the PDF they have emailed me. I just dont want to make a mistake so to confirm i can just print it on a regular paper, what i am trying to ask is that what they mail is not a special paper like the receipt i received. If it is a indeed a plain paper she has already sent me a signed copy can i mail it from US or does it have to be international mail.

Once again i just dont want to make mistake that is why i am asking all this.

You won't get snail mail at all if they have your emails!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Thank you all for all the advice. I see in the forum various places and also James Short cut says that if i pay online it should give me a sheet with the barcode on it. The only thing i got was a receipt but no bar code on it. How can i get that so i can make it as a cover sheet for my I-864.

Please advice

Ishazi, you will have to wait until it shows as PAID before you can get the barcode, I believe.
