Hello fellow members,

I am starting to worry about my I-751 application submitted on July 6 because i have seen some who already got their approval. SInce July until this day I can not see any update on my case online still says initial review.

Is there a possibility that there is something wrong with my application? I did not get any RFE or whatever from USCIS only the extension letter.

Pls i need ur advice. Thanks a lot.

You should have received a Biometrics appointment letter a while ago based on what I have seen here on VJ. Sounds like an InfoPass appointment would be in order for you to get some information.

Since 90 days have passed since you file or receive NOA1, you should contact USCIS, call them and make an infopass appointment about your case.

Thank you and sorry i forgot to mention that i did had my biometrics already on August 4. The application was sent to Vermont Service center. is this normal?

I believe it was mentioned lately that VSC takes around 4,5 - 5 months for ROC.

Not to worry mine was stuck too on intial review, and we recieved a letter in the mail stating it was approved, i know it leaves you in the dark, but a surprise when its in the mail....i would call the hotline to make sure they still see it, i filed late july and had a bio in september.

don't worry , hopefully you will be approved anytime in this week or next week.Your time line very smilar to mine..I was just approved last week..if you dont wanna be frustrated Dont even bother yourself to check online status , because even though I got my approval letter my online status still shows initial review:)) something wrong with their online system:)

think positive ,it'll be in your hand soon.
