I think if you keep collecting Hello Kitty ornaments, hubby will grow less and less persistent each year. :P

Naaah. Hubby and I have been together for 4 years and he knows hes no match for Hello Kitty. Half of my North American HK collection is from him... and in fact, he has just left the house for a super duper uber secret errand to buy me a Hello Kitty thing for Christmas. He doesnt want me to know but he left the directions to the store on the coffee table... :P

Finally married... and still married... ;)

I love HK. My Sister used to collect Hk stuff, I got her the clock and the lamp - but, while she still loves HK - she doesn't collect it anymore.

Santa got run over by a reindeer....

That reindeer is bad news. First Grandma, now Santa. Who's next? The Tooth Fairy? Maybe Bowling for Elves?

I could have used Rudolph's help tonight while driving up the foggy I-5 from Seattle in the dark...but nooooo...some old fat dude with a sleigh hired him out instead. What's this world coming to? <_<

Well my family was much nicer today. Had a wonderful evening and a great christmas with them. I got a bunch of cooking books, including one from Wes's dad that he shipped up. Its called The Bride and Groom cookbook, so sweet. I also got a couple slow cooker cook books which I thought was kind of nice because I kept saying I need to get one after the move so I have an easier time with cooking...the last gift I opened was a slow cooker so I no longer need one :D. I also got a really good set of german kitchen knives (Henkle's) so I'm super happy :D

I was the first one up too. I waited until 7:10 and then I ran in to my son's room yelling: "SANTA CAME WOOO!"

He wasn't too impressed.

Haha revenge is sweet. :P He used to wake me up at 3:00 am to open gifts. :(

Well good morning to you all and Merry Christmas. :star:

My cats woke me up cause they figure its a Friday and mom should be up feeding us at 5:30am. Holidays mean nothing to them.

So I'm waiting on VJ too for Chris to get up. I might be here awhile. I could do the dishes sitting in the sink. . . . . . . . meh its Christmas.

(Goes off to make happy Christmas morning coffee)

Hehe...Merry Christmas to you all.

Yeah, we got home at midnight last night, and didn't fall asleep until after 1:00...but neither of us slept well and we were ultimately "up" at 6:00. My wife was SO upset that I got her a stocking when I was adamant that she not get one for me! But after a few minutes she opened it and loved it. :P

Hope you all have a lovely day with your families and loved ones...and for those of you who cannot be with your significant others today...take solace in knowing that this will be the last Christmas without them. :)

Merry Christmas everyone! We woke up at our usual time with the cats all asleep on the bed around us. They hadn't even stirred when Santa made his trip down the chimney! (He was probably drenched when he arrived - it rained buckets for hours on end all night until about 5 am). Another hour and I'll put on the turkey breast to roast. We've made our various Christmas phone calls to friends and family afar, and Joe and I are now both snuggled up reading some of our Christmas books (except I've signed on here now :) ). Everything was lovely - except I couldn't find the Christmas card I got for Joe. I thought it was in with the gifts but it wasn't. No idea where it is - I hope it shows up soon.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
