Traveling Abroad on K3 - BEFORE Biometrics?

Spouse is on K3. I know that no AP is needed since the K3 is multiple entry.

However, does the spouse need to wait before biometrics is done (for EAD and for AOS)? The appointment is next week. Spouse will be traveling on a cruise to Mexico for a day this week.

Please advise! Thanks!

no need to wait for biometrics to be conducted... just make sure she goes and has the biometrics done, because nothing will progress until such time as it has been performed.

YMMV

Thanks! I saw a recent post on VJ that said that if the spouse leaves the US we would have to apply for the EAD all over again. That is why I was a bit concerned!

I don't think so... particularly if the filing is in conjunction with an I-485

YMMV
