The DS 156 you have to fill it out online, but it really depends on the consulate. The DS 156K has to be unsigned and its a fairly simple one just with the beneficiarys information. Let me know what question you are having trouble with. They have a sample DS 156 form filled out on VJ. Check it out on this link.

First: You have plenty of time before you will need to submit it. You might as well wait until you get the letter from the NVC saying they are sending the file to Manila.

Second: All three forms are on-line and with a current abode reader can be filled out on-line. Fill them out somewhere where you can also print. They are easy to fill out - see the sample forms here.

Third: Two of the forms - the DS-156 and the DS-157 must be done in Duplicate. (If there are children you need to fill out forms for them as well.)

Fourth: Once you get the notice from Manila, take one of the DS-157's you filled out to the Banco de Oro when you make your payment. They use that form as part of the receipt. So if you do not bring them a filled in form, you will get a third copy you will need to fill in by hand.

Bring ALL forms to the Interview.

on the VJ homepage, click on "sample forms" and use those as your guide. for the frms that can be filled out online, you cannot save what you've written but you can print them out...and if you make a mistake,you can always redo a form.
