Dear Vjers,

I am almost done with the DS-230 Package and hopefully I can send them to my husband within this week. Please check and see the documents I have and let me know if there are things that i still need to add/send!

Cover Sheet ( list of the documents for perusal)

DS-230 (Part I and II)

Original Marriage Certificate (NSO copy)

Original Birth Certificate (NSO Copy)

Police Clearances from PAMPANGA and MANILA

NBI clearance

Photocopy of Passport

Photocopy of previous VISA showing non 2-year rule

2x2 pictures (should it be 2 pcs or 4 pcs?)

CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) just to show that I was not married before and only married to hubby.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I-130 Journey:

05-28-09: Sent the I-130 Package

06-02-09: Chicago Lockbox received the package

06-08-09: CSC received the package

06-13-09: NOA1 received

10-19-09: Hubby's second visit in the Philippines

11-10-09: Hubby's flight back to USA

11-13-09: Approval notice sent via SMS and email

NVC Journey:

11-19-09: Case number assigned

11-30-09: AOS bill and DS 3032 from NVC received

12-01-09: DS-3032 returned via email

12-03-09: DS-3032 hardcopy sent via FEDEX

12-05-09: Paid AOS BILL

12-07-09: DS 3032 hardcopy received by J. Desmond

12-15-09: IV BILL generated

12-19-09: Paid IV BILL

ensure you write your case number at the top of all the documents you submit

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Welcome to US Letter May 19th

Card production ordered May 25th

good to know on writing the case number on top of all the documents

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

Hi metro420,

I didn't see the Document Coversheet with Barcode on your list. The cover sheet that you have to print when your IV fee is paid. If you don't have it, make sure you print it and put it on top of all the paperwork.

November 16, 2009: Sign-in Failed!!
November 16, 2009: December interviews already scheduled. Operator told me to wait for a possible January interview date. Call back in the 2nd week of December
November 30, 2009: Been trying to call NVC but line busy since late after noon. Finally, got email appointment letter from NVC with the Interview date of January 19, 2010. Yeppe Alhamdulillah>
December 24, 2009: Medical Done and report recieved the same day.
January 11, 2010: Medical submitted at VFS. They asked for: Copy of Packet 3, Appointment letter, and Passport. They told her to take a copy of I-864 and the documents submitted with it, at the time of interview with other proof of relationship documents.
January 19, 2010: VISA APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
January 21, 2010: Visa recieved in mail (Package included passport with visa stamped, sealed big brown envelop to be submitted at POE immigration at the airport, and instructions to apply for SS Card)

USA
February 07, 2010: POE Chicago --> Very easy, within 45 minutes
March 02, 2010: SS Card recieved in mail. Welcome letter recieved in mail as well
March 13, 2010: GC Recieved in mail

January 29, 2015: N-400 Application submitted

Coversheet will be done by hubby! No email from NVC yet so I just want to send him my documents, but thanks for reminding me.

Send more than 4 photos just incase. The more the marrier!

And I don't think you can have an earlier medical done because they ask for an appointment letter that comes in mail after your case is complete.
