Police clearance certificate

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Does anybody know the authenticity of this website truecheck.ca in releasing police certificate clearance through CIPC??

They are saying the mail the certificate next day!

I wonder if this certificate is accepted by NVC/Consualte

Its basically paying someone else to request it from the police?

Never used it and since they have ONE person that may or may not have even used their service, I wouldn't trust it.

Ok, I had it done at Toronto police (Bay & College). It took one week. I paid $26

The letter says Mr. x DOB x / the search of the Canadian Poice Information Centre (CIPC), National Criminal Rocords by RCMP . did not disclose any existing criminal record of convictions.

Is this letter sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the NVC / Montreal's U.S Embassy? N.B NO fingerprinting was done.

Long as it states, as yours does, that your name has been checked against the national database, you're good.

Fingerprinting shouldn't be required unless you have a record, which it seems you don't. You're good to go.

I had to have fingerprints. Not because I was a criminal, but because I was applying from out side the country. I used a third party as well. Had my prints done at the police station in Auckland, sent them to Canada and they submitted them on my behalf. Took 4 months.
