I have just obtained my EAD but I have been sending my resume to apply for jobs of my profession since a month ago to see the market response. But sadly I have not heard a response. I have had international trade/export/sourcing experience since 2003 but it seems that not very many companies in Michigan need people for their export / import business. I have even applied for store management positions at pharmacies but heard no response (which I am not surprised because I don't have retail management experience).

If you have a job now, how long did it take to find this job? Is this job something related to your profession?

Yesterday I applied online for a position (Import Administrator). I put $1900 in the salary requirement field. I told my husband about that and he immediately got shocked and pissed off. He said I was asking for what factory workers are making.. I was like .."Oh..ok..."

So how is your job hunting experience?

I-485, I-130, I-765

I-130 falls under AWA

There is an actual forum section for this, might be better if you posted it in that section for help with jobs and finding jobs etc.

Oh thank you Inky, I took a VJ survey earlier and the survey mentioned something about a forum for job hunting. I thought it was gonna launch in the future.

No problem!
