Hi guys!

Congrats to everyone so far!!! :dance:

I'm currently in Montreal and have my interview tomorrow and we took a stroll by the consulate last night to see how far away it is from our hotel...

My question is:

Do we stand in front of the glass doors which is located exactly at 1155 St-Alexandre (or is there some other gate or door to wait by around the building)??? <---this is probably the only thing I'm worried about because I don't wanna show up early and wait in the wrong area *eeeeks*

to the left of the glass door! that is indeed the door you enter from, a guard will come and open it and tell everyone to get in a line and have your passport and interview letter handy he will check it and give you a number and tell you to go inside.

If you are one of the first 2-3 people in line they only let in 2-3 people first, then after you passed through the guard station and are waiting at the elevator for a while they start sending the rest in. Then the people who went in first are taken up the elevator first with the guard. While the rest of the people wait downstairs.

Stand to the left of the left door. They will open the right door to view your passport/letter, and will send you through the left door when you are allowed to go in.

Yes, its a side door but It's marked well. You will notice the government seal above the door and notes taped in the windows talking about things you can't bring inside.
