I was not saying that what anyone said is WRONG. I dont expect for everyone to agree with me, but last time I checked it is a free country and I think I am enititled to discuss they way I view Egypt. Either way I do not want to go back on forth with anyone. I have a life outside the "online" world. So go ahead and continue writing to your hearts content, but I on the other hand have better things to do then bash others to make myself feel better.

Oh dear...

First off, you're the one with the nasty zings not me. I never told you stay out of a country because I didn't agree with you, or saying I have no life because I posted something different than what you think (i hope bashing me helps you sleep at night). Also, I do not feel better about myself because you are angry I just don't get what you are defensive about...last I checked, thats not bashing. For the most part I get along with almost everyone till they piss me off and tell me to stay out of a country because I don't think the streets are clean or they need reform on their treatment of animals....etc.

Next time, take your own advice...it is a free country and I am free to post the opposite of what you think. I'm off to play with all my "online" friends that are nice to me.

Peace.

I guess I should claify my words to say that the trash I am talking about was in the sea. Anyone could have done it, citizen, tourist, I have no idea. I really don't mean anything bad about Alexandria. Heck, the town I live in is but a spot compared to Alexandria, and you see trash on the streets here too.

As far as getting married..........Let's just say that I am completly crazy about Him, and the feelings were returned, so we were both happy in the end. We got along fabulously, and I adore his family and they seem to care greatly for me. I talk to them everyday and they are already asking me to come sooner than Feb/March because they miss me. One of my friends is going to Alexandria in a few weeks they have extended an invitation for her to visit with them when she is there. They truly are a great family and treated me soooooooo good. I can see now what it means when they say that they treat their women like queens, at least my man and his family did.

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.

OPSSSSSSS I DID IT AGAIN!

Tammy,

I can only speak for myself and to me your statement was very clear....you never meant your statements as bad towards Alexandria at all there is no need for you to clarify anything IMO. (F) I think at times people can be sensative or read into things. Hell, I might be if there were things flying around about NYC (untrash/dirt related as its an older city and that's expected).

Best of luck (F)

Tammy I completely understood what you meant about Alex. I thought everything you wrote about Egypt was really nice. If you need any cheap airline sites or phone number let me know. Take care!!!

Tammy, I am so happy you had a good time with your SO and his family! I love being with my husband's family! I had never had a family that was so warm and open to me like that before! You are right, they do treat their women like queens!

I really wish that there had been more time to see more of Egypt. However, I was sick 3 times while I was there, and I am almost never sick! After I returned to the USA, I had to follow up with my primary care doctor because of some meds the doctor in Egypt put me on. I was diagnosed with Lupus this past Friday. I guess that expains the fatigue I had been feeling while I was there. When I told my S/O about the diagnosis, his first response was to research the disease. Within an hour he had a diet plan, herbal suppliments and a daily routine worked out for me. Then he informed me that I needed to go take a nap, because rest is important for my health. Later that night, he sat down with my 3 sons online, and talked to them about it, and together they worked out a daily routine for housekeeping, homework, etc, that will not put so much stress on me. So far, so GOOD! Added to that is the fact that he is the sweetest, most caring man I have ever me (besides my Grandfather). I miss him and his family and Egypt too!

I'm sorry to hear that. I wish you the best as you deal with this sickness. I don't know that much about it, but from what I have heard, it can be difficult. Best wishes to you. (F)

Tammy, glad you have a great time and you love your SO's family!! :) It's a blessing...

Alexandria is totally fantastic!! I was there two weeks ago for just one day for work, and I can't wait to see it again... You get a feeling there you don't feel anywhere in the world... It's refreshing! :)

I'm very sorry for your illness.. InshaAllah you will get better soon. Have enough rest! (F)

I know most of the MENA posters don't understand perfect Arabic...But I can't think of Alexandria, without having Fayrouz's song "Shatt Eskendriya-Alexandria's Beach" in my ears.. It's a beautiful 70's song :).. I thought I'd share it with everyone, I hope you enjoy it :)
