Hello everyone,

I'm sorry if this seems like a really silly question. But I'm a bit confused on which address I should be putting as my current address if I am petitioning for a visa for my husband who is a British Citizen. We will be petitioning in London and I am currently still living in the UK but as of December 15th I will be moving back to the US, so that I can begin looking for a job. We will of course be sending all the paper work before I leave for the US. On the G-325 it asks you to list your present address first but I think that it is supposed to be your US address. It later asks you to put your last address abroad. This is where I get confused, if my current address is abroad where do I put this? Do I just fill it in that slot or do I write my address in that first spot where your present address is supposed to be?? Not sure if I'm explaining this write. I just want to make sure I put my current UK address in the right place. Please help!! Need to get this done ASAP!!

Kind Regards,

Tatiana

We put our physical address in Japan on both sections.

Since you petition in UK, you do not have to write your US address on the present address section.

Thanks guys!! Can you also just clarify that when we fill in the forms the way to do it - i.e type out all our details onto the I-130 and G325A or handwrite everything... ??

If you can fill out the forms online and print them, that works. I would visit Stephen & Elisha's profile: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showuser=68938 to get a G325A that you can type into better (the one on the govt site won't let you fit in entire dates in some spots).

If you can't fill them out online, then handwriting works, as long as its legible. :)

Good luck!

Sorry... I have a correction. The DS156 has to be filled out online to generate a barcode!
