Medical forms lost at Sydney Consulate

HI All

Had my medical done a month ago and civil surgeon said that the medical report had to be sent directly to the Consulate because I'm a B Class immigrant. The report was sent before my case came through from NVC and I queried the Consulate what would happen to my medical records. They said they would hold onto them and match them up with my case when it came through from NVC. I got an interview checklist the other day stating they had yet to receive my medical report. HORROR! I emailed them to double check. No, they had not received them. I've been back to the civil surgeon who will redo my paperwork etc if the Consulate cannot find it within the next few days. I demanded that I take the documents with me to the interview this time. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Just goes to show, don't take anything for granted with the visa process. Check, double check, triple check. Oh ... and one more thing ... I'm very unhappy about my medical records going AWOL - that's mightly private stuff to be sitting in someone's in-tray!
