Well, I dont want to offend anyone but I really felt bad to those whom I was able to be-friend through this website because while at their journey with their paperwork, they have time to send you email through PM, or chat with you through yahoo messenger. But now that they are already in the US; its as if they already turned their backs from the people who in one or the other has been of great help to them. Well, of course they are now reunited with their loved ones, that's given, but I think you will not sign in on yahoo messenger if you are too busy to chat. I hate to think that just because they are already finished with their journey and now in US, they dont know you anymore. I am just disappointed with this kind of attitude... I just hope that these people will learn to continue to humble themselves and learn to know where they came from. Being in the US is just the start of your journey and there might be instances that someday you will need or look for a Filipino friend to talk too. God bless

1. As to your question if the feeling was mutual when I said I "befriend" someone through VJ, I guess you will not just communicate with someone whom you doesnt feel like talking too even if you need someone from that person... not unless you are just really a USER that you are only after something that you want, and once you have it, communication ends.

2. I am not helping others just to ask or expect something in return like friendship nor oblige them to keep that friendship forever and force them to continue to communicate with me. And you are right, some of my VJ friends I havent seen yet in person but there are some that I already met in person. BUT I am not over-reacting and YES I have lots of friends outside VJ... And like you, you havent met me personally yet so you may not really understand what I am trying to say.

3. I dont oblige my VJ friends/acquaintances to chat with me.. Like the others' response, not my loss...

Well, I want to say THANK YOU for your response and for your time. You may not understand me very well and I respect that. Like I've said, I just want to voice out my disappointment. Anyway, thanks again. Gotta go! my farm is waiting at facebook's Farmville!

Forgive me if I'm wrong but this is just my opinion.

Don't misinterpret me but when you say you befriended them here, was the feeling mutual?

When you were helping them before, were you expecting something in return? like friendship?. It seems to me that you are obliging them to be your friend forever.

Gosh..you don't even know these people personally or am i wrong? If you don't know them personally I think you are over reacting. Don't you have friends other than the people in vj?

So many people here in vj who have helped me in my journey and I am still talking to them here or to another websites but Im doing this not because I feel like I am oblige.

You are right, tambay na lang sa facebook! I will not waste my time to someone who is not worth'it of my time and friendhip! May I farmville na lang! hahaha! Anyway, just want to make myself clear that I met some of my vj friends so its not true that I dont know them personally in a way. Well, I cannot blame others if they cannot understand me; I respect their opinions.

Anyway, thanks for your response. time for me to harvest my crops in farmville!

In my opinion.. Ronaly is right. She is just telling what she feels and how disappointed she is in that particular person. They are not just friends here in vj... they already met, that is why she is hurt and feel that she is USED by that person, why you need to go online everyday if you are so busy in America and still on honeymoon stage. The only thing that was change is the place where are you in right now but don't forget where you come from.

guys guys.

you have to understand that this particular person she is referring to just started not talking to her.

i understand because she just keeps on ignoring her, while she was still here ronalyn would always talk to her, give her pieces of advice but after that BOOm she disappeared.

She considered her as one of her friends. And she just does not like the fact that SHE is IGNORING ronalyn even if she always is online.

ronalyn is just hurt.

Hi Ronalyn. . .

Life in the US. . means, starting in your own. . It maybe or maybe not but life in the US means, looking for new friends. . adjusting the culture. . everything. Just wait til your friends get back to you.

Anyhow, I am always online in yahoo messenger tho I AM OUT doing ERRANDS with my hubby. :)

This is very true. Everything in the US is time based. The clock rules here. With an iron fist.

Its better to be 15 minute early than 1 second late.

What I can say..... "Bato, bato sa langit ang tamaan huwag magalit.".... It's true!

Hehehehe... happened to me several times, they'll be your friends during the time they encounter trouble, and when everything is okay already, they will not talk to you anymore. But then, it's one human nature. Sabi ko na lang sarili ko, "at least nakatulong ako."

What the OP means is that, simple saying hi at least once in awhile would be okay. Of course, we understand, how busy life here.

I'm always online, because I never off my computer even when I am busy or out. I explained it to all the people who PM me so they didn't think that I am ignoring them, it simply means I am really busy or out. But I leave short messages to them when I can.

I just don't ignore because I am busy.

kaya siguro sila online parati sa ym kase bz sila chatting with their families and closed friends sa PI. i know some people na ganyan din. i got disappointed at first but now i just ignore them kase may sarili na din akong buhay and i'd rather talk with people na pinapahalagahan yung friendship na inoofer ko kase sa mga tao na binabalewala ako.
