My husband's approved cases on October 27th, STILL have not made it to the NVC. What's the hold up? Are my papers misplaced or something? Anyone still waiting for there case to get to the NVC? Im worried.

You must speak to a human at NVC with regard to a K3 case. Only the I-130 case number will be in the automated system.

Both I130 and I129f have not made it. They were approved the same day.

My case took 4 weeks to get from CSC to NVC. It may be the same for you. After a month has passed, give them a call. I believe 90 days have to go by before they put in an inquiry though. Good luck.

I call every day to the NVC and get nothing. It's almost a month now. Umm, I don't want to wait 90days. Should I send NVC my approval notice and a letter saying they never received my case? Maybe it can get to someone's hands.

I called the NVC everyday too. My papers took about 15 working days to get to NVC. It made me so mad because I was approved on the same day as 4 or 5 others that I friended here on VJ. All thier papers got to the NVC about 3 days after the approval. My papers took forever.. I swore they lost the papers or they blew off the mail truck. Once they got to the NVC, they were shipped to Costa Rica and I had my interview about 2 weeks later. It all moved soooo fast after that. Also remember that their automated system is not current. I called the NVC after I had my interview and the system still said they had no record of our case. Have faith..... your papers will get there. I KNOW how hard it is to wait.... But there isn't anything you can do... They move at a snails pace... And the holiday week is here. Probably half the staff took vacation this week. I was in your exact shoes this time last year. The holidays were murder..... so heartbreaking.

Good luck

It took my petitions (I130 & I129F) a long time at NVC also. USCIS approved them after 3 weeks. But NVC took 5 weeks to post that they had them. I think NVC is currently back logged. It's frustrating that some fly through NVC and others don't. It would be nice if they were consistent.

Thanks for sharing your stories. Makes me feel a little less worried. But wow, it's extremely hard just waiting, while looking at others timelines. I hope when they do receive my husbands case, he gets an interview letter soon.

Anyone else waiting for their case to get to the NVC?

Comparing timelines never helps. All countries aren't equal in this process. Many people that filed at our same time were in the USA and some were married before we were ever approved. Search for Estadia if you want to see a crazy VJ timeline.

NOA 2. Really?

I had someone at CSC tell me it can take 3 months to get to the NVC once. The point is, timelines are the average and you could be an outlier. According to timelines, our AOS should be done, but it isn't. Do I worry about it? Nope, cause it'll drive me insane.

Good luck with your papers.

I called USCIS and made a complaint because I didnt receive my hardcopies stating the approval and I asked for a supervisior and he said he would get them sent out to me and I added in there that they didn't make it to the NVC either. He was kind enough to be understanding and put in a service request for me. Then 3-4days later, NVC recieved my K3 and 6-7days later my I130 made it. Keeping bugging them, it's the only way. It was driving me crazy also seeing fast deliveries but Goodluck.
