hi everyone! i'm new here. well, here's my simplified love story

i met Gene on myspace. there's this game called mobsters there, and i made a fake account so i could add as many people as i could to expand my mob, so to speak then i put a picture of a pretty korean actress on it lol. i did have a real account with my real picture and real friends on it. but didn't want to add strange people there. Gene was on my fake account because of mobsters. then, one day, he sent me a message. he said i was very beautiful and asked to marry me lol. of course, i knew he was just kidding, so i said that's not really me. he asked why i would do such a thing and if i was ashamed of my face or something. i literally laughed! then, i said of course not and that i just made that account so i could play mobsters. i told him if he wanted to know what i really looked like, he can take a look at my real myspace account and add me as a friend if he wanted to. and he did. then he sent me a message on my real account and said he still found me beautiful and his offer still stands. i found it sweet, crazy, and funny at the same time. i just said to stop saying that to strangers coz someone might take him up on his offer lol. we started talking ever since. that was september 2008.

we talked about everything. we texted each other, chat on yahoo, and talked on the phone. then, we got closer and really comfortable with each other. it was like we've known each other for a long time. we laugh at the silliest things. then, on november 2008, we were talking on the phone and i don't really remember the exact thing we were talking about, but he said something like "well aren't you my girlfriend?" here in the philippines, well at least what i'm used to, you have to ask the girl if she wants to be your girlfriend after getting to know each other well. if she said yes, then great! i told him that and he thought it was silly coz i think that's not the common practice in the US lol. but he asked me anyway, and i said yes we've been together ever since.

Gene came here on may 2009 for two weeks. it was his first time on a plane and he did it to see me. those two weeks were the happiest in my life. we were together every single day. he met my parents and they liked him. then, on may 14, 2009, he asked me to marry him. of course, i said yes! i cried when he went back, but we know we'll be together soon. and now, we started our K-1 visa journey.

i hope you liked our story! i didn't include every detail i hope i'll meet friends here! i'm kind of scared of this whole process coz the US embassy is so intimidating. i'm not really used to being interviewed lol. i hope i'll get tips from fellow Filipinas who underwent the same thing. i need all the advise i could get. thanks everyone!
