Well, somebody needs to start it.

I mean - we've got USA, Canada, France, Mexico, Japan.

How can we possibly overlook the land down under?

Yes, yes, joke if you will. But while there are numnuts in Australia, as there are in every country, there are wonderful things there too.

Let's try people to keep it real. Positive vibes only, please!

I'll begin.

The magnificent "Three Sisters" in the Blue Mountains, only an hour's drive from Sydney.

The Sydney Opera House, a true marvel!

and of course the incredible AC/DC

Ok gang, have fun!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Aussie's do need anyone to appreciate them. Their awards (aka 1st place trophies) speak for themselves. To come from being a convict colony to a leader in terms of quality of life, speaks volumes. Keep in mind they also did this without exploiting anyone. Keep in mind who your Swine Flu vaccine is coming from. Keep in mind who has order the highest number of 787 from Chicago based Boeing. As Americans say, money talks BS walks, right?

Unlike some achievements mention in another thread, from decades ago, their achievements are current.

Personally, their achievements for a country of 21 million, their compassion for their fellow citizens, their teamwork spirit, the community being a crutch for those in need and their love of their country is what I appreciate the most.
