Sure wish you pinay would get your HIS, HERS, HE, SHE correct. Makes it difficult to understand when you post. Yeah my wife is a prime example of POOR use of the pronouns!

Hope HIS husband makes it OK.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

no sympathy on this forum for that kind of thing.

Seconded.

99% of us are on this forum because we're doing it the legal way. If it has taken your friend's husband ten years to realize "oh #######, maybe I should become a legal resident", he's never going to be able to make it through the mounds of paperwork, questioning and general atonement that would be required.

Third and final reading. 10 years is almost enough times for most family immigration categories to become current let alone a spouse. He got married 8 years after he was living in the US. What was he doing for 8 years? I'm sorry, there might be some sympathy for the devil but not for your friend's husband.

The kindest of us around here would suggest an immigration attorney. The others would suggest the illegal go back where they belong and suffer USCIS like the rest of us (or in this case, suffer a likely ban from re-entry).

Either way... you won't find help for illegals on this forum.

Ironically around here, they are deporting husbands of people that are here illegally, let the illegal mom stay here to take care of her USC born kids here, but with no means to support them, so our tax dollar takes over.

Suppose if your friend married an illegal, can just leave it that way, keep the marriage a secret, file a single return and just lock up the husband in the basement or the attic, but a hell of a way to live. If love really exists, move to his country.

During our AOS, read about the USCIS issuing green cards to Cubans found on rafts miles off shore from Miami. Suggested that to my wife, she didn't like the idea of riding on a raft 15 miles off shore claiming she was Cuban to get a free ride. And hoping the US Coast Guard would show up. Well I didn't like that idea either, but is an out for a quick way to become a LPR, for free and without that long wait.

I don't understand our government in saying kids born here of illegal parents are USC's and why the free ride for Cubans.

no way for this person to adjust status... so back home she/he goes.

I second... not much sympathy. It has taken some of our member s YEARS to get their significant others here.

They can go back home and try the waiver process. It's the only option available at the moment.
