Unless you've got a complicated case or the beneficiary isn't an UK born citizen, the USE doesn't really give much of a rats behind about any of that and mostly cares about the affidavit of support. Take a couple if you'd like...but if you read the interview reviews, people aren't asked to see evidence of a relationship nearly all the time.

U R right, and I M your convert. Pics are not needed at all. Why do we waste our time and postage for these things called pics?!

I dunno, lol. You seem to post a lot in this board and give out information that might be appropriate for the Philippines, but not for the UK. :innocent:

I understand your opinion, but why is it that some people get downright snooty and puffed up by boasting that they only needed 1 picture to get approved? Itz like people who go out of their way to brag that they dont watch TV and dont own one.

Digipics are so easy and inexpensive to take. Why not take many pics with lovely lady or hunky hubby, and just throw a few into the embassy paperwork pile. It's just fine to have 5 or 10 loving pics to show your closeness and caring to the consulate, wherever it may be in the world. It's not a big deal. Just sayin'. Peace.

A good thing to do would be to take a couple of pictures to fill in the gap between when you filed your petition and now. Phone records, a few emails, print outs of photos, a few envelopes he's received from you (dates are stamped on them) ... handy to have just in case.

Always plan for the worst case scenario. Chances are that you will not be asked for evidence, but it would stink if you were and you didn't have anything, IMO.

 My thoughts exactly! Better safe than sorry. Thanks!

You have the right attitude! Why not?!

Right, but I've seen some people post and really freak out about the the kinds of evidence they bring of a relationship here in this forum, especially in the NOA2-->Interview thread when the focus should really be on having all the correct documents for the affidavit of support. That was all my point; wasn't trying to be snooty or anything about it. I really feel for you guys in "harder" consulates (F), it's looks awful for you guys. I know I've talked to all my family and friends about how unfair it is especially for MENA folks...of course a lot of them are like, "Well the terrorists, Justine!! And if they're not they're probably after a green card!!"

p.s. I had to laugh because I don't own a tv! lol, well, I do, but it's only for watching movies, it's not hooked up to anything. I only make fun of my sister back on the west coast, though :jest:

At the consulate stage it is always best to seek out consulate specific information. Take all advice given in context.

The guides can be wrong, and this UK forum right - for UKers.

For example:

At London, they want to see the affidavit of support say that you DO INTEND to provide specific contributions to the support of your fiance(e) on the I134.

Also, No one going through the UK embassy (with the exception, perhaps, of non-UK born people) has been asked for relationship evidence. Print out a couple of digital pictures if you like, or a screen shot of your inbox summary showing copious amounts of emails, and call it a job well done. As was mentioned before, your time and efforts are much better spent ensuring the things they do actually ask for are complete.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.

Unless you self sponsor the I 134, which seems the easiest option.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
