Hello all, here is the situation: i now have 2 good jobs but for the past few years i was not making much $$ on paper as i was living on a family farm so i did not show enough income to sponsor my now wife to be able to come here so my parents co-sponsored as they have enough $$. Now we are applying for the AOS and my parents have sent me their completed I-864 with their tax returns, but they only could find 07 and 08 for my old returns (i now live in FL and they are in NH along with all my previous tax information) so my question is what do i do? do i leave it blank? just put in some random amount? None of the years were that much $$ , 08 was a bit over 6k and 07 was just over 3k.... like i said, i did not make much $$ at all before. Just looking for some good advice on our next step as my wife wants to apply soon so she can work!!

thanks in advance,

bill

You could obtain transcripts of your 3 previous returns from the IRS.

If you submit the forms you will need the W2's, 1099's, etc. as well as the 1040's.

Transcripts are free and can be faxed the same day or mailed to arrive in a few weeks. http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=110571,00.html
