Ouch, that's terrible. This person is such a loser that he has to put down others. Punch him twice, hard ...

The Lord is my strength and my shield,

My heart trusted in Him and I am helped,

therefore my heart greatly rejoices,

and with my song I will praise Him.

Psalm 28:7

I prefer kicks in the ball sack over punches. Less pressure on the hand. :P

But yeah, that guy is so obviously an idiot. He's not even worth your time! And criminal charge...

So far I haven't heard anything really insulting about Canada and me being Canadian, but I'm sure it will come eventually. People are usually fascinated like I came from outer space or something. Colorado actually has a decent sized Canadian population too, people just don't realize it because we don't wear name tags.

Really? that's where I'm heading (hopefully sometime soon).

Do you know if there are a lot French Canadians? Im scared of missing the French.

I was surprised by the amount of French I saw in Denver in shops etc., but I wasnt sure if there actually were people speaking French.

I know 2 personally, and I don't really know anyone  But its funny when I tell people I'm from Canada. I either get the "wow, Canada, isn't it cold up there?!" Stuff, or I get "oh that's funny, my sisters best friend married a Canadian!" The guy who did our wedding cake has a daughter who married a Canadian and lives in Montreal, the woman who did out groomsman's tux fitting has a Canadian dad, and like 3/4 of the Colorado Avalanche? Canadian! :P

I honestly haven't encountered ONE French speaking person in the state. Its like a nonexistent language. Sometimes I say things in French for fun, because I get strange look and literally nobody knows what I'm saying. The best part is that, I suck at French, but there is nobody around to correct me  With that said, for some reason, I see a lot of products that come with French instructions or French/English labels. Maybe its the Canadian influence? Or maybe there are french people that I haven't found yet. Its all about the Spanish. Wish I knew some words to better communicate with people.

But that's so cool you're coming to Colorado kizza!! Where abouts in the state are you moving?

I met a few French from France but it's not the same.

Yeah, it is funny how most of the Avalanche players are from Qc! I love it!

I find Coloradans pretty cool and open minded in general... It seems like most of the population comes from a bit everywhere in the country!

I'll be moving to Edwards, about 10 minutes west of Vail, down I-70.

Im curious because Ive see little shops with lots of French on signage, but dont know if it's just to be fancy. And at the Tattered Cover bookstore (love that store!!) they have a section dedicated to French language magazines. Better than nothing.

Wow, you're going to be way into the mountains! Very cool. We live in the metro but make a point to take a trip into the mountains at least once a month. We were in Vail a couple weeks back on our way through to Glenwood Springs. Part of me wants to live there but then part of me doesn't. I can imagine you get your fair share of snow!

I love going to Glenwood Springs!! love driving through the canyon. Sometimes in summer we do river floats too and end up there. They have 2 great mexican restaurants if ever you're interested!

Edwards gets a lot of snow, but a little less than Vail, as its already a little lower in attitude.

I love the lifestyle there, but sometimes I find it a little small-town.... That's why we like to go to Denver to hang out about once a month! ;)

It was my first trip to Glenwood and It was so cool! Unfortunately we didn't have much time to spend since we did a weekend mountain tour that involved way to much driving  But I would definitely love to go back. I can see what you mean about the small town thing though... a lot of mountain towns are just so tiny. I was actually surprised at how small Vail is. I expected it to be bigger! Ever been to Silverthorne? I love shopping up there.

But when you move we'll have to get together and talk about Canada! There's another Canadian VJer here in the metro I see every now and then. We can turn it into a Canada party.

I love how the punching someone in the face thread has turned into us talking about Colorado!

Hahaha. I was wondering what your little "murp" and "meep" utterances were for.

Not that you wouldn't murp or meep just for the sake of murping and meeping, of course.

Haha yea. I murp and meep a lot.

Did you hear about that principal who banned the word meep?? Like how can you ban meep? It's the best word to say in moments of complete social awkwardness!
