In the Instructions for "K" Visa Applicants, it says that my fiancee must certify that she has all the applicable documents in her possession, but she is required to return to the Embassy prior to her interview only these items: (1) Signed Checklist of Documents; (2) DS-230 Part 1; (3) photocopy of the passport photo page; and (4) two photographs. It seems to me that I have read elsewhere, however, that more than this is required. Please clarify.

I told her to include COPIES, not originals, of all the other stuff (applicable to K-1) in the packet3 checklist.

All of the forms that you see there we included in the returned packet3, as well as a copy of the police

report certificate.

It must have been the right thing to do, as she mailed packet3 on a Monday and got the email packet4

interview invitation on the next day. The interview was scheduled one week from the day we got

the email (email was sent to both of us by the consulate). Interview is next Tuesday.

Your best bet is to email the embassy with your questions. I personally found this to be the most reassuring choice when I have specific questions about what to return with packet 3.

Nan had everything in a Labeled & Tabbed folder so it was very easy for the lady to look at. Nan said the girl that were disorganized did not her visa.

our view was take everything we had with her to the interview, she even had my birth papers. It shows we are no trying to hide anything.
