My Fiance interview successful--Mumbai -INDIA

Hi All,

My fiance had his K1 interview today at Mumbai Consulate --India.

It was pretty straight forward.

His appointment was scheduled for 8:30 AM.

He reached there at 7:45..They allowed him to get in at 7:45 AM.

After that, one Indian Lady took his appointment letter, passport verified it.

Took all other doc from him, such as I-134, birthcerti, police certi etc others.

And asked him to sit inside.

He had to wait for around 3 hours till his name was called.

Then the American CO took his fingerprints and ask him to take OATH.

Asked few general questions like

--Why u want to go there and marry and not in India

--What does she do there.

--when are u going to get married after getting to US.

--Do u eat veg/non-veg..

--Are u planning to make barbeques after getting to NC..etc..

After that they said that u got it and goodluck with ur future.

Pick up passport from VFS office after 4 pm or they will deliver it to ur house by monday

and that's it.

Thanks to VJ as my first phase ends here..no stepping forward..
